Went to look for a stone circle up near Cefn Coch yesterday, it was quite sunny to start with, but as the afternoon wore on and the wind picked up it got colder. By the time I got back to the car at about 5:30, I was chilled to the bone. The first sign of winter, booooooooo...

As for the circle, it was so unimpressive I didn't even bother to take pictures. It was pretty large in radius, probably 20+ metres, but the highest stone was probably a foot above ground, and many of the other stones were missing or obscured by clumps of rushes. Shame really, I was hoping for something a little more spectacular. Did stumble across a rather nice ruined cottage on the way though.
